What you get
If your store's pages already run Google Analytics 4, neb sends it three events. There is nothing to set up in neb.
| Event | When | Parameters |
|---|---|---|
neb_chat_open | A shopper opens the chat | source: neb |
neb_question | neb replies to a question | source: neb, answered: true or false |
neb_lead | A shopper leaves their email for your team | source: neb |
How it works
- gtag.js on the page (the usual GA4 install): neb calls
gtag('event', ...). The events show up in your GA4 reports like any other event. - Google Tag Manager only (no gtag on the page): neb pushes the events to the
dataLayer. To forward them to GA4, add a Custom Event trigger forneb_chat_open,neb_questionandneb_leadand a GA4 event tag that uses it. - No GA4 on the page: neb sends nothing and loads nothing.
- To turn it off, add
data-analytics="off"to your neb line.
What you can do with it
- Mark
neb_leadas a key event, to count shoppers who left their email when neb couldn't answer. - Compare
neb_questionwithansweredtrue and false: the false ones are the questions your pages don't cover yet, also listed in your morning report.
Put neb on your store
neb answers your shoppers from your own pages, in their language, at any hour, and tells you every morning what your pages couldn't answer.
